Connected

We draw everything in this book ourselves, from the first sketch to the print file. Connected is where we let texture do the talking. The pattern is not printed onto a flat colour; the surface itself is the design, and it changes with the light in the room.

One drawing, several moods

Thirty-three of the fifty-one designs belong to a family. Be Square is one drawing in black, green, natural and warm. Relax runs from gray through light and moss to rust. For a shop that is the easy conversation: the customer chooses the pattern first, and the room decides the colour.

Drawn to be combined

Allure exists twice on purpose. One panel carries the texture across the whole wall, the other places the elephant on top of that same ground. Hung side by side they read as one composition instead of two designs that happen to match.

How it goes on the wall

Every design is a panel set of 200 by 280 cm: four panels of 50 cm wide in a fixed order. There is no repeat to line up, so hanging is a matter of one to four and the drawing is complete. Printed on non-woven, paste the wall rather than the paper.
